Description

You see Heiress Persayis Shima'ionare, Duskwalker of the Gypsies, an Elf.
She has a heart-shaped face with pouting lips, pointed ears, thick-lashed stormy grey eyes and a classical nose. Her blue-black hair is very long and thick, and is worn in an artfully tousled style threaded with a narrow black satin ribbon. She has fair skin and a shapely figure.
She is slightly under average height for an Elf.
A shimmering black diamond moon rests on her forehead, just above her eyes.

She is wearing a masterfully crafted blued-steel hairpin weighted with darkened star sapphires, a braided platinum eyebrow ring inset with a cluster of dark blue sapphires, a midnight blue nightsilk cloak stitched with pure white swans, a simple white gown cinched at the shoulder with a silver clasp, a dark gossamer and nightsilk shoulder bag in shifting hues of eventide, a friendship ring crafted of two curved and intertwined bands of gold, an anklet made of linked silver stars with dangling cambrinth moons and a pair of black slippers with crystal-trimmed ankle laces.

History

Persayis was born to a family of Mountain Elves and raised in Ilithi. Even at a very young age she felt drawn to the stars and the secrets that they held. Her constant daydreaming and detached temperament exasperated her family, and while they didn't ostracize her they did look down at her lack of ambition and short attention span with disapproval. As soon as she was old enough she gathered a few belongings and started out to find her place in the world. Her travels took her over the Reshal sea to Taisgath island where she met a group of gypsies. Curious about these folk, she stayed near and observed them with fascination. Noticing her, the elder gypsy of the group beckoned her over. The old lady took her hands and said softly, "I foresaw you coming, would you like to learn more about the ways of Fortune's Path?" Persayis nodded eagerly. "You are young though," stated the gypsy gently. "Before you can join us you must train in the ways of a Moon Mage. Return to us after you have gained knowledge of the heavens and we will teach you all we know."
Disappointed, Persayis returned back to the mainland where she joined the Moon Mage guild. A sense of rightness overcame her as she realized this was the guild she was destined to be a part of. She worked hard at her studies, and eventually went back to the island where she found the sect of Fortune's Path once again. As promised, the gypsies tutored her their ways. A gypsy at heart, Persayis learned quickly, though she decided to use these talents for personal gain rather than read fortunes for others.

After joining the sect Persayis split her time between studying and socialization. She befriended a group of Rakash and helped form the pack Vern Del Katamba along with Tallen, Ylenia and Luceano. She was briefly engaged to Luceano, but eventually they went different paths in life and most of the pack split up. She still remained in association with Ylenia who became Alpha of the reformed pack Dzirta Del Viss Nacija. After striking out on her own again she met Sarambor. They were married and enjoyed many wonderful years together. While she loved Sarambor deeply, the life of a wife didn't suit her and she felt the webs of fate drawing her in another direction again. The couple divorced in the year 397 AV.

Present

Today Persayis wanders around, sometimes mingling with those of her sect and guild. Most often she is a loner content with star gazing as well as indulging in her other favorite pastime (shopping). Recently she reconnected with some of her family from Ilithi and has returned there to gain citizenship.
