Appearance

You see Vasilissa Muja'vasik, a Kaldar.
Vasilissa has an angular face with pouting lips, slightly pointed ears and thick-lashed red eyes. Her black hair is very long and thick, and is worn in a tousled mass of locks that tumbles over her shoulders. She has ebon skin and a lithe figure.
A trio of ivory spirits float lazily around her left wrist, glowing with a lustrous sheen against her skin.
She is young.

She is wearing a generous black silk cloak with a dramatically sweeping hem, a silver firesilk bustier graced by scintillating black diamonds, a hammered silver armband wound with cambrinth nightshade blossoms, an exquisite silver signet ring, a darkened silver oath ring set with a radiant black diamond, a wicked silver belt knife, a low-slung leather skirt, some black high-heeled sandals with long thin straps and a parry stick.

Background

Vasilissa was born on the 2nd day of the 5th month of Uthmor the Giant in the year of the Crystal Snow Hare, 377 years after the victory of Lanival the Redeemer. Her father was a sore and heavily guarded subject with her mother who was a Cleric devoted to the Goddess Dergati. She went on a pilgrimage when Vasilissa was 7 years old, leaving her with relatives until she returned. Vasilissa never saw her mother again. Her relatives, being firm followers of Chadatru, spread the rumor that Dergati was unhappy with her disciple and took vengeance upon her mortal soul. They thought she chose unwisely of her patron Goddess, and took their disdain out on Vasilissa whom they believed to be the incarnate of the Dergati's wrath because of her unnatural appearance. Skin the deep color of ebon with hair to match, bright red irises and a waifish figure; she never stood a chance against their prejudices. They tried their best to press their beliefs onto her, and it only made her dislike them more. Over the years nightmares plagued her, the only similarity between any of them being a shadowy woman with three glowing red eyes. Vasilissa was careful to keep these a secret from those she lived with. As she grew older the dreams were less frightening, and she felt as though the woman were calling to her rather than haunting her with terrible visions. She began to wonder about the reality behind her mother’s disappearance. So with naught but dreams and instinct to guide her, at the age of 18 she left her home and journeyed out on her own. Vasilissa decided to join the Clerics guild and follow Dergati’s dark path to better understand her and to gain clues into her mothers fate.

Present

A wealthy Cleric who she refuses to name became her benefactor in 397 AV, and presented her with a Barbarian to aid her on her quest. In the 3rd month of Lirisa the Archer in the year of the Crystal Snow Hare, 398, Kendus Muja’vasik was bound to her as her serf and blade.

Religious Beliefs

Vasilissa worships Dergati primarily, though she also pays respect to Damaris and Asketi as well.
