Happy Tuesday, folks! This week, Koror and Haros teamed up to bring some Negotiants-related fun to Traders! The devil of any deal is in the details, and now there are new deals AND details to get familiar with! Here's an overview of the updates: Your tessera was updated. It no longer needs to be INVOKEd to communicate with the Negotiants. You can ASK it as before for direct communication. ASK TESSERA ABOUT DEALS for a brief overview of the options. The old exchange-aura-for- experience has become a new INVEST deal that you can ASK about. The exp formula was also reviewed and updated to be more generous for higher-level traders. Low-level traders are unchanged. One new deal is EXPOSURE and requires knowledge of the Avtalia Array spell. For 1 full in-game day (6 hours), the Negotiants will super-charge your array so that you regain aura at 2x the normal rate. The catch: exposure to sunlight can become deadly, even more so if you allow your aura to cap. Death does not free you from the arrangement. The other new deal you can ASK about is LOAN, and it also requires knowledge of AVTA. If you're in a pinch, they'll loan you up to your personal cap of starlight aura, but you have to pay back double the amount loaned within 1.5 hours. To make payments, ask about LOAN again to have your aura depleted as payment until the 2x amount is covered. They will collect payment -- if you fail to meet their deadline, you will quickly learn the ramifications of not honoring your contracts. There is a warning message before the forced resolution of your debts. Overall, this should give you a little more flexibility with managing your aura. These new deals aren't meant to be running 24/7, and their respective drawbacks should ensure that. They also track in-game time, NOT real-world time -- no logging to avoid consequences. We'll be monitoring feedback in case tweaks are needed once you've had time to poke.
