Happy Tuesday, folks! This week is another round of releasing a project a former GM started years ago but got lost in the shuffle and forgotten about. GM Paklin picked up the project to get it finished up for release. For those on the Discord (or checking out epedia when they have time!), there's some bonus images released with this, too! A few paces beyond Fayrin's Rest in Ilithi are some wide cedar gates leading to a House of the Silk Strings compound, in particular the Kiora'ylen Storehouse where they focus on textiles and processing fabrics. Unfortunately, there's been sabotage by a competitor and much of the fabric has been animated to create fabric snippets, sylphs and windbags! These are all constructs, and Empaths are encouraged to engage freely! Within the storehouse, there are 4 distinct spawn areas with the 3 new creatures (+variants): Snippets have no magic or special abilities. Sylphs buff and debuff with Swirling Winds and Vertigo respectively. Windbags attack with Air Lash or Paeldryth's Wrath. All are immune to stuns. Sub-Areas Creature Level Entrance/Shipping/Storage snippets 18 (+/-1) Packing Floor/Lower Level sylphs 27 (+/-1) Upper Level/Dye Rooms/Workspace greater/elder windbags level 50 (+/-2) (Premium Only) Supply Rooms/Argosy/Records Room normal windbags and greater sylphs 42 (+/-2), both As I opened, this was a project started by GM Duscot a few years back! I missed his time as a GM during my break, but I came across the proposal and QCs for this area and was super impressed! The proposal came with a map of the area and images in bestiary style as well as mostly written room descriptions and more! I'm sad I missed out on Duscot's time, but super happy that Paklin was able to get this area finished up and released (with only minor tweaks based on the current Empath construct ladder). Cheers to (current and former) staff involved in all the moving parts of this one over the years: Duscot & Paklin for the work; Ulerith and Grejuva for QCs; Abasha, Lawlite, Duscot and maybe more for the planning! There may be more, but these are the ones I've pieced together! Zadraes (for the team and more!)
