Sayings

Osmandikar's eyes gloss over as he recalls many years of his life. He shrugs before saying, "It's been a long life. Nothing too extraordinary. I grew up among the island folks, spent my time mending the sails of others' ships, and finally got my own."

"My ship, the Dawn's Rising, was a worthy vessel. A relic of the old wars that I had painstakingly restored and modified into a three-masted cutter. I had refurbished her with nothing but the best. Mistwood masts and bloodwood decks..." Osmandikar nods solemly. "Ahh...She is gone now, taking twenty-two good souls with her. All such a loss."

Osmandikar continues, "Just the same. What's done is done, and here we are. Make the best of every day. It's all any of us can do. Things have improved greatly since you all found us. Perhaps, with time, the Estate Holder's Council will bring more business to this place. A new beginning on the frontiers."
