[Kasine's Gauntlet, Entrance To The Pit]
Lavish tapestries depicting battles between warriors and giant beasts adorn the smooth metal walls. Brightly colored banners hang from the broad ceiling beams and flutter tauntingly with any whisper of a breeze. Two curving stairways, displaying red and blue runners, trail up the eastern and western walls to lead toward the stands which overlook the arena floor.
A massive gate leads back outside.

[Kasine's Gauntlet, Entrance To The Pit]
Hordes of people fill the hall as hopeful combatants mingle amongst the spectators, awaiting their chance at the pit. A smooth silversteel desk piled with stacks of parchment, scrolls, and ink bottles rests before the gated entrance to the pit. Behind the desk, a small army of heavily armored guards flanks the gated entrance to the fighting pit, keeping watch for any vicious beasts attempting to escape the arena.

~~~ Welcome one and all to Kasine's Gauntlet ~~~ If you are considering challenging the Gauntlet, please take a few moments to review the rules and procedures below. We will not be held responsible for accidents or loss on your behalf because you choose to ignore this sign. The first and most important point is that there is a very good chance you will die during the competition. It you do happen to pass, your corpse will be removed from the pit and moved to a recovery room with your possessions. We ~DO NOT~ staff any clerics or empaths for public usage, so you must find your own method of returning to life. No exceptions will be made under any circumstances, period. If death's hand finds you, we will make the best attempt to move all of your possessions with your corpse, but we might not gather them all. Do not bring anything with you that is not easily replaceable, and we will ~NOT~ compensate for your loss. If you understand the above, you may join the list and await your chance to enter the pit. You must be present when your name is called, or else the attendants will go onto the next name. When your name is called you will enter the pit, and the announcer will call your name so the crowd gathered in the stands may watch your match, and cheer you onward to victory. Soon after you enter the pit, creatures will be released one by one until you slay the final beast. This is not an undertaking for the meek of heart, soul, and body. Be prepared for the battle of your life! ATTENTION -- Please be aware that you are joining this list knowing the consequences of your actions. My staff and I are not responsible for any damage or loss sustained to your person or belongings you choose to bring with you into the fighting pit. These are savage beasts, and they will do anything in their power to hurt, wound, maim, kill, destroy, savage, rend, tear, rip, smash, scorch, or decimate your person and/or your possessions. [Kasine's Gauntlet, Souvenir Shop]
Rich blue and red silk is draped from the beams to create a faux ceiling and walls to enclose the shop. Made from smooth steel, two tables sit at the far end of the area while racks and hooks hold wares just within the reach of any eager shoppers. Scantily clad Elven men dressed in black silk sweep gracefully from place to place, assisting the customers with any questions they might have.

[Kasine's Gauntlet, Hall of Champions]
Crystal cases line the walls of the passage, their icesteel shelves loaded with the equipment of the long lost champions of the past. Several large steel-wrought lanterns dangle from the thick beams that reinforce the ceiling, casting a shifting yellow candle light across the surface of the plush blue carpet that lines the hallway. Gentle curls of silver smoke waft from several incense burners hidden amongst the foliage arranged about the area, filling the air with the strong smell of lilac.

[Kasine's Gauntlet, Recovery Room]
The room is a flurry of activity as the battered bodies of the fighters are unceremoniously hauled into the room and heaved onto the nearest available cot. Groups of weary attendants quickly shuffle between the wounded gladiators, their formerly white robes drenched in the deep crimson of fresh blood. A large silversteel cabinet is set into the eastern wall, designed to hold herbs to help facilitate the healing of those wounded.

[Kasine's Gauntlet, Amphitheater]
Rows of padded seats slant upwards along the curved walls, giving ample room to house any number of spectators. Banners in bright shades of red and blue hang from the polished metal beams that arch overhead. A few darkly clad figures weave amongst the crowd, taking side bets on the combatants' chances in the pit, careful to stay inconspicuous under the watchful eye of the patrolling guards. A stairway stretches downward along the eastern wall.

[Kasine's Gauntlet, Refreshment Stand]
This three-sided stand is crafted from polished steel walls and etched with the figures of hulking monsters. The open side faces the pit, allowing the patrons to watch the battles below while making their pick of food from the long counter or pouring themselves a drink from the keg rack above it. Several beautiful maidens stand behind the counter, ready to pass overflowing glasses to the spectators.

[Kasine's Gauntlet, Amphitheater]

Several guards stand watch over the railing that separates the fighting pit from the crowd, occasionally using their elaborate halberds to coax a blood-thirsty beast away from the inner wall.

[Kasine's Gauntlet, Treasure Room]
Polished to a sheen, the walls hold brightly colored banners of blue and green. An extra-long banner stretches across the west wall and reads, 'You Survived Kasine's Gauntlet!' A plush blue rug with red edging covers the metal floor and holds two silversteel tables in its exact center.

The clerk pats a ledger and says, "I can only allow each family to purchase 1 item from a smooth table of silversteel. Looks like this is your last."
