Badarin Ramm is a S'Kra Mur Cleric and is an archivist and self-proclaimed theological scholar. Though he is a citizen of Velaka, the cleric's journeys often find him in Zoluren and Therengia seeking out new texts. He spent much of the last few years researching Necromancy and lichdom in support of the war effort against Lyras, and before his self-imposed exile was an inquisitor with the Holy Inquisition.

Though he began his training with dreams of becoming a warrior priest, Badarin has since adopted a more sedentary lifestyle and prefers the company of prophets and scholars to zealots and evangelists.

Affiliations and Activities

Early in his career Badarin was a Corporal in the Therengian Cavalry, though he resigned to pursue his education. He has most recently been seen floating between Riverhaven and Crossing in support of the triage efforts in the war against Lyras. Formerly a Guard in the Order of the Theren Guard, where he worked in Therenborough's triages regularly, Badarin now travels Elanthia in a combination of pilgrimage and intelligence gathering against the rising tide of Necromancy. Though he resides primarily in Muspar'i, Badarin can be spotted around and contacted virtually all over the Province of Therengia.

Badarin claims a heritage from Sraan Irhhnth, though this information has never been substantiated. Badarin's activities in Therenborough, however, tend to support his claim to the political clan of S'kra Mur.

Religious Conflicts/Issues

A devout follower of Hav'roth, Badarin believes in the value of all sentient life and in respecting the beliefs of all of the beings in Elanthia. Because of this belief, he finds himself at odds with the Cleric's Guild over issues of admitting Prydaen and Rakash Gods to the accepted and espoused Pantheon.

Appearance

You see Parath'agi Badarin Ramm, Divine Hammer of Peri'el, a S'Kra Mur Cleric.
He has a flexible ridged crest which follows the shape of his skull and slitted almond-shaped grey eyes and a rounded snout, white scales with a pale silver underbelly, a long tail and a portly build.
He has a complicated design surrounding a stylized eye which has been painted upon his forehead in henna dye.
He has a tattoo of a pair of hands, one light and one dark, cradling a bridge that spans the two palms on his back.
A shadowy orb rippling with silver arcs of light hovers like a will-o-wisp, following him diligently.

He is wearing wearing a slender alabaster staff with a silver cobra coiled along it, a dark grey suede war belt with an interlocking clasp of ivory fangs, a stiff burnt-sienna cassock clasped at the shoulder with a Holy Inquisition pin, a pair of formal tooled leather sandals with bright silver clasps, a fine linen backpack embroidered with stylized suns, a sand-colored samite cloak embroidered with the image of a hooded cobra, a gem-encrusted gold aristocrat's signet ring, a great helm, some lumium heavy plate gauntlets and a pilgrim's badge..
