| Description: | Aureate Anamnesis draws upon the lingering imprint of Katamba's ancient golden radiance, which once sustained the Rakash in moonskin before the First Change. Though the moon has long since been blackened, an echo of its former light endures within the shadows it now casts. By drawing forth this vestige and weaving it into a mantle of golden moonlight, the ritual briefly loosens Katamba's hold upon the Rakash, setting aside the cycle of transformation established by the Great Supplication. Perhaps it is little wonder that such a presumptuous working survives only in obscure scrolls, beyond the bounds of Lunar orthodoxy. The spell extends its influence to all Rakash within sight, offering each a fleeting opportunity to assume either form, regardless of Katamba's phase, as long as they remain in the presence of the caster at the site of the ritual. The magic also shields Rakash from the stunning effects of transformation. Once a form is chosen, the spell preserves it against Katamba's influence until its power wanes. | |
