Entrance and Tool Repair/Storage

[Therenborough Alchemy Society, Foyer]
Creamy marble walls spidered with thin veins of gold surround the small foyer, the floor underfoot displaying a central mosaic of the society's crest. Radiating from gaethzen sconces, a soft glow is cast about the area, highlighting the vibrant floral tapestries hung nearby. A pair of velvet settees face a low table at the center of the room, while a busy clerk tends to the needs of the many artisans who visit the society from behind a sturdy counter with a gilded placard on it.
You also see some polished oak doors leading to the courtyard and a winding staircase.
Obvious exits: north, south.

The placard reads...

You can place your crafting tools on this counter, and
a clerk will store it for you. You can
also ASK a clerk for the item that is in
storage, and he will return it to you. Finally, you can
ASK a clerk for a LIST of the items you
have in storage, or for a REGISTER to allow you to store
  deeds easily.

If you have multiple tools of the same name,
a clerk will give you a sack with all of those
tools. If you ask for TOOLS, he will give you all of your
tools that are currently in storage. If you hold on to the
sack you get from him, you can place that on the counter and
a clerk will store everything inside for you.
