Zasele
Status: Alive
Guild: Trader
Race: Elothean
Gender: Female
Location: Hollow Eve Festival 410

You see Seamstress Zasele, an Elothean Trader.
Zasele has an narrow face, thick-lashed leaf-green eyes and a pointy nose. Her platinum hair is short and fine and has a bright blue streak running through it. She has pale skin and a lean figure.
She appears to be in her prime.

She is wearing a purple clematis crown tied with trailing pale blue ribbons, an unadorned wide-sleeved robe of flowing blue nightsilk, a twisted nightsilk belt dangling a trio of pierced platinum dokoras, and some pale blue slippers embroidered with platinum coins.

Ask Zasele for Task

For a fee of 5000 (5g), Zasele will agree to take 4-6 items from the Tailoring system that are at least 4 yards of material or larger in exchange for a grab bag of items which will include some coin, some common gems, some crafting materials and 10 Hollow Eve tickets.

ASK ZASELE FOR TASK #1

Seamstress Zasele looks hopeful as she quickly rummages through her signs and holds one up:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
"I will ask for a fee of 5 gold dokoras from you to accept this task. It ensures you will not waste my time, and it will help me replenish my own supplies to some extent after the festival has moved on.

If you agree to this charge, just ask again and we'll proceed from there. Please be aware that I will not be available after the spider has moved on. If you pay the fee, but do not return to me in time, I shall appreciate your charity, but I will be unable to authorize a refund.

You will need to provide your own materials for the crafting. My grab bag rewards may replenish some, or they may even be greater than your own investments. It's a bit of chance to encourage folks to do more than just the initial work. I will be here the entire fest accepting the goods.

Thank you for your time!"

ASK ZASELE FOR TASK #2

Seamstress Zasele beams and holds up another sign:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I'm pleased with your enthusiasm! Eager workers have a passion for what they do, and it's often reflected in their work! I'm happy to work with you for this!

Here are the terms. I'd like for you to make [4-6] tailored items, leatherworking will work as well. There are many that will do, but when analyzing its craftsmanship, I will be most interested in the following options:

  1. finished fabric clothing
  2. finished cloth armor
  3. finished cloth container
  4. finished leather armor
  5. finished leather clothing

It must be well-made or better upon my analysis. There are those who would take advantage of me with shoddy work, and I won't have any of that. It must also be of substantial material so as to offer sufficient protections against the elements.

To that end, I will expect your finished good to make use of at least 4 yards of material.

Please do NOT give me anything you don't want to lose. I don't do exchanges. Once you offer it, it becomes my property and you will not see it again.

I cannot promise that you will make back the cost of your supplies or my fee, but there is a chance of grabbing a nice gem or some of the more rare materials that other crafters seek.

If we proceed, I will take the fee and you can begin work. If not, I understand, and hope you will direct others my way to hear my offer!"

ACCEPT TASK

Seamstress Zasele smiles warmly and holds up a simple sign:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
"Thank you. Let's handle the coins, then you can get right to work. 5 gold dokoras."
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Seamstress Zasele takes your coins and nods appreciatively.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
"Thank you! You can get to work whenever it suits you. Just remember that I leave when the spider leaves. You must finish by then if you want to claim a grab bag.

When you finish, bring me your work and GIVE it over for inspection. As long as it meets the rules I laid out before, I'll accept it.

Good luck!"

Ask Zasele about Zasele

Zasele points to herself and raises an eyebrow. She selects a sign for you to read:

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
"I lost my voice not all that long ago. I'll spare the details, but suffice it to say that I found myself in the wrong place at the wrong time. The healers did what they could. I am lucky to be alive, and I am greatful that I can continue my work. Perhaps in the future you can know more of my past, but I have business to attend to here, and such discussions should not be held in public places."

Ask Zasele about Orphans

Zasele nods enthusiastically and reaches for a sign:

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
"Orphans have the worst of it, but work in Zoluren in recent years has improved their lot. The realms are vast, though, and Zoluren is but a (large) speck among them.

There are others. Those thought of as louts, moneygrubbers, thugs and worse. Folks are quick to judge someone based on their appearances, and often manage to be quite far from the mark.

It can't be denied that children make up the bulk of these persons. Regardless of how they came to be in the state they are, my goal is to help them all in whatever small ways I can."
