Gaumedies Vaerylian

Gaumedies, one of the Forest Elves and a Bard, is a long-time resident of Leth Deriel. He was one of the defenders of Leth Deriel against the multiple Dragon Priest attacks upon the city, which were led by Dzree and ultimately failed. He is brother to the Shard Empath, Lady Atladene.

At heart, Gaumedies could be considered an Elven nationalist. He often expressed the opinion that the short-lived Humans, and therefore the Zoluren rulers, had little impact on Elven life in Leth Deriel, although it should be noted that, when pressed, Gaumedies felt that it would not benefit Leth to align with Morganae and the Mountain Elves.

When the Regent Mayor, Anbreith, was poisoned in a plot allegedly staged on behalf of Queen Morganae, Gaumedies took the fall in an effort to protect the bungling assassin Liohe.

Rumored to be Eluresturi's lover, Gaumedies was last seen heading off to Mountain Clan after learning that she was being detained against her will.

Appearance

You see Gaumedies Vaerylian, an Elf.

He has pointed ears and grey eyes. His auburn hair is long and straight with a white streak running through it, and is worn tied back. He has fair skin.
He is in his prime for an Elf.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a bone-tipped ashwood composite bow, an amber earring shaped like a heron in flight, a flexible woven leather instrument case, a thigh-length chestnut brown suede vest laced with narrow gold cord, a leather sheath reinforced with gilded scrollwork, a high-collared white silk shirt, some loosely fitted light woollen trousers, a pair of cuffed leather boots, a thigh quiver and a battered leather pack.
