"but please refrain from just a listing of all spells, like you had previously. " If you can make a link to the spells official description that would be great. but under each spell i explained in italic why that spell is important. Having the spell info availbile to referance next to what im explaining about that spell is why i did it that way

Shop templates

I see you're starting on the shop revamp, do you think you've finalized the shop templates? I was going to go through some of the shops in Ilithi that I did a while back, but don't want to start editing them unless you're done. --Grindinghalt 16:37, 4 April 2007 (CDT)

I was just wondering for the shops, if it would be better to put currency type in the Store at a Glance box instead of with every item. Mudge 11:03, 22 April 2007 (CDT)

Items

Dang, talk about meticulous. I'll keep that in mind for the next batch. Mudge 10:13, 22 April 2007 (CDT)

Help

Naeya, I'm trying to get the hang of this so I can contribute to this web site but I'm having difficulty. I don't even know if I'm doing this right! Anyway, check out the Imaar page. I can't figure out how to do the Category box.

Enchantes

Ok waiting on the template, sorry about the mess right now, I'm fixing it. But hold of on the delete I am transfering the info from the main page right now. Thanks. --Derivan 09:31, 26 April 2007 (CDT)

Enchantes Template

I'm going to use one of the normal spell templates and see if it needs to be tweaked at all. Enchantes do fall into the same categories as Spells. Contested, Buff, ect. So that will work. --Derivan 09:39, 26 April 2007 (CDT)

Ok started using the template. Valid Spell Target doesn't really apply to enchantes, since they can be sung loud/quiet. You can toggle between individual effect on buff enchantes and group effects as well as engadged or room effects for offensive enchantes. --Derivan 09:51, 26 April 2007 (CDT)

Good deal. --Derivan 10:22, 26 April 2007 (CDT)

new spell template

Hey Naeya I migrated my new template to Template:Spell finally. It is in really good shape I think. My next task is to slightly edit the individual spell articles to take advantage of the new features, but I've included a temporary element in the new template so notes are still visible during that switchover. I noticed your comment on Derivan's talk page about planned spells and added something nice to take care of that. --Farman 22:13, 5 May 2007 (CDT)

After that I'm going to extend the template to add a right-hand navbox to spell pages for easier navigation among a guild's spell articles --Farman 22:16, 5 May 2007 (CDT)

Naeya, thanks for your kind words on my talk page! --Farman 09:46, 7 May 2007 (CDT)

Maps

If I wanted to do some map work, would it be possible to get a zip file with all the jpeg?

--Nazz 00:20, 9 June 2007 (CDT)Nazzarus

Currently there is no way to easily and "magically" zip up all maps here, but you can download each JPG seperately, and we would be glad to assist in getting the (dated) zip-file on the site, as an optional way to get the maps. --Callek 18:39, 9 June 2007 (CDT)

Library Project

I've been trying to work on the library project a bit and have added a good number of books and I just today noticed that their are a few more book categoies then I knew. Atleast one of them I'm sure is a repete and 2 others seem like a good idea but are nearly empty. The different categories are:
Book
Books
Books by Call Letter
Books by Title
I'm not exactly sure how you want things done. Should I add every book to each of the categories? It looks as if someone tried to tie it all together but didn't get very far. Books, Books by Call Letter, and Books by Title are linked to one another but have very few books in them. Category:Book has the most entries by far but I don't know how to link the other categories into it so... Anyway if someone will tell me how it should be done then I'll do it. Untill then I'll just continue adding books and worry about categories later.

Pendril 02:19, 16 July 2007 (CDT)

Ugh that's a can of worms I've been avoiding. I was hoping to move all the books to the Category:Books to keep in line with our standard of using plural categories. I think the best way to do this is to make a template to include on each individual book page, instead of putting the category in manually (though the template will have to be manually added, at least it will let us change all books in one edit instead of having to go back to all of them again if we change anything in the future).
I'm busy with a lot of other projects, including RL things, so I don't now when I'll be able to get around to that. Perhaps someone else who is familiar with making templates can take a crack at it.
--Naeya (talk) 11:51, 25 July 2007 (CDT)

I think I originally started with the Book category and after putting a couple books into the category realized I should have put them in the Books category, and then things were getting disorganized so I added the Call Letter and Title categories because I was using the call letters to list the books since that is how DR organizes them and I wouldn't have to fuss with complicated titles if I listed them that way. All in all, it was a well-intentioned effort that didn't make it very far until I was overwhelmed with things to do in RL. If you settle on a system that you like and you want help migrating things over, let me know.

Hi!

Thanks for the welcome, Naeya! The Embroidery page was the first time I've ever modified a Wiki, so I did a lot of research on how to get my tags right from the get go. Please let me know (gently!) if I horribly flub something up, I'm still a baby!

I've got several other pages I'm interested in working on, and a page on runes is what I'm writing right this second. In writing that one, I've found a spelling error that I'm not sure how to fix, because it's the page title that's incorrect, and it's linked from other places, I'm sure.

The page title is currently "Sierack's Regeants", a store in Shard that sells runes. The proper spelling of the store is "Sierack's Reagents", which is how it's spelled in the LOOK of the room. How does this get fixed?

Thanks again! ~Axiarra

Well, the easiest way is to Move the page to the new, correct spelling. This changes the title and moves the page and talk page with all the history to the new name. Going back to the old page and clicking on "What Links Here" in the toolbox in the left hand menu will let you know what other pages need to be fixed. Until those are fixed, the old page will simply redirect to the new one. We'd prefer that all the links are fixed (there shouldn't be too many, perhaps only the map that the shop is on and the shopkeeper's page).
You are able to move the page yourself, so I'll let you do that to practice. Once the links to the old page (Sierack's Regeants) are changed to the new Sierack's Reagents, please edit the old page to contain the template to set it for deletion. To do this, just edit the page and put in
{{DeletePage|reason}}
Where the reason is spelling correction, or you could just leave it blank. This puts a note on the page that it needs to be deleted, as well as putting it into the Category:Articles for Deletion to let admins know it should be deleted.
Also, you can sign talk page comments using the signature icon ( File:Button sig.jpg ) in the edit toolbar. (For more info on personalizing your signature, see the help section. Let me know if you need anything else.
