Butchery ritual
Requirements: 30th Circle
Difficulty: None
Type / Skill: ritual / thanatology
Use Cost: Divine Outrage
Description: Use on a fresh corpse's body part to extract a specimen.
Effect: Gets body parts for Risen.
Messaging: You begin to dismember the corpse in front of you.

Making several deep cuts with your knife at key places in the <creature>'s corpse, you manage to extract a <quality> <creature> <part>.


Notes

  • Seek out a NPC in one of cold laboratories; the various Guildleaders do not teach this.
  • This ritual generates Divine Outrage.[1]

Syntax

PERFORM BUTCHERY ON [CREATURE] [OPTIONAL TARGET]

Arms, legs, head, torso, eyes, wings, and brain are all valid body parts.

Creature Parts

Overview

Once you have a part you can LOOK at it to get some details:

You believe that this is the wing of a rather unfortunate wyvern.
The wing is of perfect quality and came from a large creatural corpse.
You think the wyvern wing will become unusable and worthless in 29 minutes.

Part Types

Known body part types are creatural, demonic, humanoid, or monstrous.

Part Sizes

Known body part sizes are tiny, little, small, medium, large, very large, and huge.

Part Quality

Order Part Quality
1 shoddy
2 poor
3 passable
4 mediocre
5 fair
6 decent
7 very good
8 superior
9 flawless
10 perfect
