As promised, alteration rules, rarity levels, and price points would be developed and released. Now that we've got those ironed out, you can freely start thinking up cool designs to involve them in! Buckle up, because this is going to be a long and informative post.

First, let's go over the alteration rules concerning these materials.

Materials now able to be used in alterations:
Scheelite, axinite, ilmenite, selenite, celestite, malachite, xibaryl, asketine, avaes, azurite, calavarite, elbaite, erythrite, hafaltu, imnera, rhodonite, lemicule, zengalmi, iheaneu'a, and sraeth.

  • Rarity level on these materials is merchant. That means you may find items in shops that contain them in the future. Staff has been asked to clearly mark them if they are magical or not to avoid confusion.
  • These materials must be provided during alterations.
  • Intricate detailing via carving is not possible. Engraving is fine.

Materials that may not be used:
Albredine, jadeite, kyanite, lantholite, lasmodi, sjatmal, waermodi.

Special Note:
Indakar is not a material. Indakar is only a S'Kra Mur word meaning thunder. Yes, your Indakar rattle is likely now a bit rare, but it's not a material, sorry!

Now, for the materials and their descriptions!

Uncommon Materials
Asketine - Dark grey with occasional flecks of silver blended into it.
Avaes - Very pale off-white color.
Axinite - Glossy material that usually forms complex crystalline structures, and can range in color from brown to plum blue to grey.
Azurite - Soft, dark blue copper mineral produced by weathering of copper ore deposits. Typically found as "dark azurite" but can also be "blue-grey."
Calavarite - Gold telluride, is an uncommon telluride of gold, with approximately 3% of the gold replaced by silver. The mineral has a metallic luster, and its color may range from a silvery white to a brassy yellow.
Elbaite - Typically a sphere, it is very colorful, similar to rainbows playing off the surface of a soap bubble.
Imnera - A clear type of glass with white swirls throughout it.
Rhodonite - fiery red combined with chunks of coal grey, and is usually found with numerous cracks running down its surface.
Scheelite - Orange with a rough, feathering appearance..
Selenite - Colorless, and has an appearance similar to a completely clear marble.
Sraeth - Dark and glossy, sraeth is the same dark silver as blackened silver metal.
Xibaryl - Pale blue color and has ap olished sheen, with bands of silvery white running through it.
Zengalmi - Waxy surface and presents in all the gradient tones of smoke.

Rare Materials
Celestite - Pale blue crystal that forms into many complex shapes. It most often makes geodes.
Hafaltu - Typically presented in white piece of marble that has a slight veins of hafaltu running through it. This metal is a dark green color that is dense and non-reflective, and is always found running through hard stones in small veins.
Lemicule - Often lumpy and is opaque and varies between a soft to a dark green.

Very Rare
Erythrite - Similar to quartz, it is typically striped violet and pink.
Iheaneu'a - Glossy pristine white material that is marbled with gold and platinum veins.
Ilmenite - Pale silver metal tinged through with blue streaks.
