Astoshe's Eclipse (constellation jewelry)

• A ring worth 1 gold kronar or more
• Enchanter's Burin
• Celestial sigil of the Wolf, Nightingale, and Shrew

Steps

1. Spell up (optional, but helps immensely)
   • Seer's Sense
   • Clear Vision
   • Piercing Gaze
   • Aura Sight
2. Cast Imbue on the ring twice or untill it warps.
   • Command: prep Imbue, cast my ring
     • Failure message: Something about the ring causes the spell pattern to dissipate.
       • If you fail when attempting to Imbue the ring then the ring cannot be made into an Astoshe's Eclipse ring, simply find another ring that will work and try.
         • Message: The bone ring twists and warps as if caught in a heat wave, then abruptly stops
3. Memorize the Celestial sigil for the Wolf.
   • Command: study Wolf / Sigilbook / Scroll
     • Failure message: You are unable to comprehend the nature of the sigil behind the Wolf.
       • If you fail when studying the Wolf, wait 3 minutes and try again. Scrolls and Sigilbooks are more forgiving and you may repeatedly try until you get it.
         • Message: Your head is still swimming from your last attempts at comprehending the sigil behind the Wolf constellation.
4. With the burin in your right hand, scribe your ring with the Wolf sigil.
   • Command: scribe my ring
     • Failure message: The sigil flutters along the bone ring but fails to do anything.
       • Go back to step 3 if you fail to scribe.
5. Activate the sigil.
   • Commands: prep Shadows / Dazzle / Unleash, cast my ring.
     • Fail Message: You sense that the sigil on the ring has failed to activate.
       • If you fail to activate the sigil before it fades away, you must go back to step 3.
6. Bind the sigil to the ring.
   • Command: focus my ring
     • You will get a 12 second Round Time, and a little message telling you that you need to focus on the ring again in order to permanently bind the sigil to the ring.
   • Command: focus my ring
     • Focus until you bind the sigil.
     • Fail Message: You attempt to bind the activated sigil of the Wolf constellation to the ring but fail.
       • If the sigil fades before you succeed, you must go back to step 3.
7. Memorize the Celestial sigil for the Nightingale.
   • Command: study Nightingale / Sigilbook / Scroll
     • Failure message: You are unable to comprehend the nature of the sigil behind the Nightingale.
       • If you fail when studying the Nightingale, wait 3 minutes and try again. Scrolls and Sigilbooks are more forgiving and you may repeatedly try until you get it.
         • Message: Your head is still swimming from your last attempts at comprehending the sigil behind the Nightingale constellation.
8. With the burin in your right hand, scribe your ring with the Nightingale sigil.
   • Command: scribe my ring
     • Failure message: The sigil flutters along the bone ring but fails to do anything.
       • Go back to step 7 if you fail to scribe.#Activate the sigil.
   • Commands: prep Shadows / Dazzle / Unleash, cast my ring.
     • Fail Message: You sense that the sigil on the ring has failed to activate.
       • If you fail to activate the sigil before it fades away, you must go back to step 7.
9. Bind the sigil to the ring.
   • Command: focus my ring
     • You will get a 12 second Round Time, and a little message telling you that you need to focus on the ring again in order to permanently bind the sigil to the ring.

     • Fail Message: You attempt to bind the activated sigil of the Nightingale constellation to the ring but fail.
       • If the sigil fades before you succeed, you must go back to step 7.
10. Memorize the Celestial sigil for the Shrew
    • Command: study Shrew / Sigilbook / Scroll
      • Failure message: You are unable to comprehend the nature of the sigil behind the Shrew.
        • If you fail when studying the Shrew, wait 3 minutes and try again. Scrolls and Sigilbooks are more forgiving and you may repeatedly try until you get it.
          • Message: Your head is still swimming from your last attempts at comprehending the sigil behind the Shrew constellation.
11. With the burin in your right hand, scribe your ring with the Shrew sigil.
    • Command: scribe my ring
      • Failure message: The sigil flutters along the bone ring but fails to do anything.
        • Go back to step 10 if you fail to scribe.
12. Activate the sigil.
    • Commands: prep Shadows / Dazzle / Unleash, cast my ring.
      • Fail Message: You sense that the sigil on the ring has failed to activate.
        • If you fail to activate the sigil before it fades away, you must go back to step 10.
13. Bind the sigil to the ring.
    • Command: focus my ring
      • You will get a 12 second Round Time, and a little message telling you that you need to focus on the ring again in order to permanently bind the sigil to the ring.
    • Command: focus my ring
      • Focus until you bind the sigil.
      • Fail Message: You attempt to bind the activated sigil of the Shrew constellation to the ring but fail.
        • If the sigil fades before you succeed, you must go back to step 10.

How to Use

In order to use an Astoshe's Eclipse ring, rub the ring while worn.

Messaging:
You rub a slender bone ring etched with the crest of the Moon Mage Guild.
You feel yourself flash invisible.

Notes

At any point below "fully charged" a Moon Mage can try and recharge the enchantment with lunar mana, thus attempting to restore it to its maximum number of charges. To do this simply hold the ring in your

right hand and CHARGE MY RING. It takes about half of your attunement to attempt this, regardless of whether or not you succeed in charging the ring. You may have to charge the ring many times in order to

return it to 'fully charged', depending on how depleted it is. You should be aware that it takes AT LEAST 350 ranks in Magical Devices to even have a chance at this. It is really recommended 400 ranks unless

you don't mind sitting there trying it over and over, waiting for you attunement to come back each time.
