Forging Factor is a player creature term to describe their skill in making metal weapons are armor.

The formula is (Weapon skill * 0.6) + (((Total of related weapon skills) / 3) * 0.3) + (Mechanical Lore skill * 0.1)

The weapon families are:

• Twohanded Edged, Heavy Edge, Medium Edged, Light Edged
• Twohanded Blunt, Heavy Blunt, Medium Blunt, Light Blunt
• Halberds, Pikes, Quarter Staff, Short Staff
