The Mer'Kresh Engineering Society is a place to practice the engineering disciplines of Carving, Shaping, and Tinkering.

Engineering Society Master Thalorin wanders the Society and is on hand to issue workorders, teach techniques, and grant a career or hobby if you choose.

This building can be found 3 rooms west from the bank, from the same Mer'Kresh Crafting Society Vestibule by which you can reach the Forging Society.

Rooms

Entry

[Mer'Kresh Engineering Society, Hallway]
The entrance to the engineering wing stands broader than the surrounding corridors, built to accommodate the passage of bulkier materials. Tired workers shuffle past, burdened with sacks of goods destined for different corners of the Society hall. Deep gouges scar the wooden paneling, while smears of grime and fingerprints add to the hall's worn and chaotic appearance.
You also see a recessed doorway leading out, a prestige board and a battered wooden door.
Obvious exits: north, northeast, east, southeast, west, northwest.

The wooden door leads to renting a private work room.

Tool Store

[Mer'Kresh Engineering Society, Tool Store]
Neatly stacked crates line the back wall of the shop, each one fully stocked. Quick-footed attendants dart between shelves, retrieving items for curious customers, while a grizzled old man methodically sweeps dust and debris from the worn floorboards.
You also see a large sign.
Obvious exits: west.

A large sign reads:
"Welcome to our store! Stone carving tools are sold here, and you may ORDER merchandise at any time. Please
ANALYZE purchased tools before asking for help!"

Office

[Mer'Kresh Engineering Society, Crowded Workroom]
An oak desk with a matching chair sits tucked against the back wall of the cozy office. A large bare patch on the wall is an impromptu space for scribbled notes and rough diagrams. Every so often, attendants pass through, sweeping debris from the floor or dusting the plain furniture.
Obvious exits: south.

First Workroom

[Mer'Kresh Engineering Society, Crowded Workroom]
Tables and workstations are crammed against the walls, each occupying just enough space to remain functional. Though coated in dust, the overhead lanterns still cast enough light to reveal the projects in progress below.
You also see a large waste bucket, an assortment of communal crafting equipment, a table saw, a gear press and a pile of fuel.
Obvious exits: southeast.

Second Workroom

[Mer'Kresh Engineering Society, Crowded Workroom]
Tables and workstations are shoved up against the walls, each one seemingly shoved into the bare minimum of space necessary for it to be used. The lanterns overhead are dust-covered but still manage to emit enough light to illuminate the projects being worked on.
You also see a large waste bucket, a pile of fuel, a gear press, a table saw and an assortment of communal crafting equipment.
Obvious exits: southwest.
