Appearance
Aaoskar has an angular face with bushy white unruly eyebrows, pointed ears, vivid blue pupils set in Grazhir white eyes and a straight, broad bridged nose. His snow-white hair is very long and straight, and is worn loose. He has smooth sand-colored skin and a lithe build. He is very tall for an Elf and appears to be young. He has a large, thick, bristling mustache on his upper lip and a long fuzzy beard. He has a tattoo of six towers on a field of stars encircled by the three Elanthian moons on your wrist.
Dress: Aaoskar is wearing a crisp lotus-white silk shirt with celadon buttons, an imposing storm-grey silk kimono with a lotus-white under-robe, a black lotusweave vest featuring matching pockets, a white leather sack for gathered souls with a ghostly white xibarite clasp, some white pants with writhing shadows encircling the hems and some graceful silverwillow sandals.
Family: Moonbender Family
Clan: Descendant of River Elf and Wind Elf clans
Guild: Moon Mage
Sect: Fortune's Path but considers himself to be a student of both Lomtaun and Tiv. On nearly every day, Aaoskar visits Lomtaun. It is reported that the two meet and drink a tea with rarely ever saying one word before the two nod and depart.
Religion: Aaoskar is rumored to share many of the views of the N'ai Jrana, though others say that he is a fringe group within this nearly forgotten religion.
Racial and Guild Heresy: Aaoskar believes that returning to the ocean is synonymous with traveling into the ocean waters of the Astral Plane and that River Elves regularly traveled the Astral Plane in the forgotten past, though by different methods. The Astral Plane, Aaoskar claims, was fundamentally altered when Grazhir shattered, transforming the Astral Plane into a Plane overwhelmed by Lunar Magic, making the Plane less hospitable than it had been in antiquity. Aaoskar disagrees with Lunar Magic theory taught by the guild and claims that the 'safe bubble' is true only in the sense that it is the eye of the storm caused by Grazhir.
Currently.
When Aaoskar is in the public (which is rare), he is often seen shaking his head in disappointment before quickly going back to his solitude in the wilderness.
Rumors. Aaoskar has regular discussions into the Plane of Probability and the Obelisk Builders. While his discussions have involved many Moon Mages, he regularly discusses Lunar theory with Aerathor Vas'Waerd.
The Theory of Temporal Shadows is Aaoskar's most well-known theory, though Aerathor is said to have given the theory its name and helped with its development. The theory is a radical new explanation of The Plane of Probability, Shadows, Prophecy, and Time itself.
Aaoskar has also proposed a new theory on the origin and heritage of the Elven people and a theory describing the relationship between the Rakash and the moon, Katamba. Those who have heard either theory say that the theories are unorthodox and cannot be substantiated.
Aaoskar has attributed much of his understanding to Lomtaun Nedorath and Tiv. While it was once rumored that Aaoskar and Lomtaun had a falling out, they are often found in meditation in Taisgath. Aaoskar is often critical of Guildmaster Prime Taramaine Ennis-Braun's and his belief that Moon Mages should be cut off from the Plane of Probability for the greater good. Aaoskar believes that The Theory of Temporal Shadows justifies the use of prophecy when safeguards are taken when gazing upon the Web of Fate. Similarly, Aaoskar is critical of the Children of Kalestraum for reasons he has yet to explain in a public forum.
Aaoskar is rumored to be in various groups. Some say he belongs to a secret society, but it also whispered that he is a member of The Children of Kalestraum, the Progeny of Tezirah, the Goldcaps, the Philosophers of the Knife, an unknown order known as the The Greensward Pact, the Order of the Iron Circle, Fortune's Path, Monks of the Crystal Hand, and various ancient sacrificial religious cults. Aaoskar laughs off these claims.
== Accomplishments ==
1. Participated in conclusively proving that group predictions are too inherently unsafe for the entirety of existence.
2. Developed The Theory of Temporal Shadows with the collaboration of Aerathor and other Moon Mage scholars.
3. Promotes a Radical Theory of Elven Heritage that some say is an odd interpretation of N'ai Jrana text.
