Forging Society (Hibarnhvidar)

The Hibarnhvidar Forging Society is a place to practice the forging disciplines of Blacksmithing, Armorsmithing, and Weaponsmithing.

Forging Society Master Juln is on hand to issue workorders, teach techniques, and grant a career or hobby if you choose.

This building can be found in the Upper Cavern section of the city, all the way south.

[Forging Society, Book Store]
A glaes arch divides the public forge from the main cavern. Owned by Juln, a master smith of Hibarnhvidar, the area resounds with the dull roar of the furnaces, the screech of metal against grindstones and the hiss of hot metal being quenched beyond the hatch in the south wall. At the entry, tables and counters groan beneath the weight of books for both casual and master smiths. You also see a large sign and a prestige board.

A small alcove to one side of the room contains tables displaying tools for sale. Several vents in the ceiling gently pull warm air from the foundries nearby. You also see a steel crate and a large sign.

[Forging Society, Maker's Mark Hall]
Maker's mark attendants wait in a small alcove above which hangs a variety of tools. Prestigious crafters mill about and eagerly discuss trade skills with each other. An old grindstone sits off to one side. You also see a large sign.

A large sign reads: Welcome to the Maker's Mark Shop! Crafters of some renown can ORDER BASIC specialized marking stamps for their designs here. Crafters with great prestige can ORDER ADVANCED Marks. These marks are permanent, and will span all Crafting Disciplines.

[Forging Society, Supply Depot]
Fashioned similarly to the rest of the forge, this room offers additional space for the storage and sale of crafting supplies. Large wooden pallets display materials that can be ordered at any time. You also see a large sign. Obvious exits: north.

A large sign reads: "Welcome to our store! Materials, ingredients and packets for deeding items used in the forging process are sold here. Not all mining locations are civilized enough to offer immediate deeding of resources. To accommodate the fearless miner, deed packets are available for purchase here. Crafters may also use these to deed finished goods. Please STUDY them for instructions, and ORDER them at any time!"
