Special Attacks

Scavenger trolls will snatch weapons held in the mainhand. They do not target other items or weapons held in the offhand.

• Announcement: The scavenger troll exclaims, "Gimmie dat <weapon in your mainhand>!"
  
• Attempt: The scavenger troll reaches towards you, its claws greedily opening and closing. [Does not cause roundtime.]
  
• Resisted Attempt: It grabs your <main hand weapon>, but you are able to pry it free! Roundtime: 3 sec.
  
• Successful Snatch: It grabs your <main hand weapon> and wrenches it from your hand. Roundtime: 3 sec.
  

After successfully stealing your weapon, a scavenger troll might wield it against you. Tentatively, a scavenger troll jabs a <your stolen weapon> at you.

Scavenger trolls are able to steal, hold, and wield Warrior Mages' elemental weapons.

Scavenging Mechanics

• Scavenger trolls will collect weapons, ammunition (arrows and bolts) gems, boxes, lockpicks and most random creature drop items.
  
• They ignore coins and do not pick up their fallen comrades' armor or knapsacks.
  
• They place most items they collect inside their knapsack.
  

The scavenger troll exclaims, "I dinks I like da' lockpick!"

The scavenger troll bends over and picks up the lockpick. After appraising it, the troll places the lockpick in its frayed knapsack.

• Items too big for their knapsack or weapons they choose to wield will be held in their inventory.
  

LOOK TROLL: It is carrying a silverwillow shortbow with a lotusweave-wrapped grip.

• Collected or stolen items held in inventory can be LOOTed from a troll's corpse or recovered by SEARCHing it.
  

You search the scavenger troll.

The scavenger troll was carrying a frayed knapsack, a battered leather coat, some leather greaves, and a silverwillow shortbow with a lotusweave-wrapped grip.

• Other items will have to be recovered from within the troll's knapsack once it drops. LOOKing IN KNAPSACK after each kill is a good way to find missing loot or stolen items.
