Shaarl was a general of the new Dragon Priest Empire. He defied Grand Arbiter Serzyn and attempted to circumvent Empress Hhrsaraa. He is responsible for prompting the five provinces to launch a massive revolt against the Dragon Priests and crusade against the Black Spire as a result.
The empress underhandedly had him executed, then his body was taken by the revolters to the Temple of the North Wind; his soul to be sacrificed to Asketi for his crimes against the Thirteen. However, he was later rescued by a contingent of his Dragon Priest assassins.
Appearance
You see Shaarl, a S'Kra Mur
Slightly below average height, his lean body is covered in glistening black scales. Fangs filed to a needle point are visible along the sides of his scarred snout. His slitted amber eyes are alert and focused. He has a long slender tail.
He is in his prime and in excellent physical shape.
He appears to be dead! Other than that...
He has faint scuffing to the right leg, a severely swollen back with a shattered spinal cord compounded by a completely destroyed back with nearly all flesh and bone torn away revealing a gaping hole, some severe twitching.
He is wearing a scarlet great helm with twisted obsidian horns protruding from the sides, a jadeite gwethdesuan, a kyanite gwethdesuan, a black-scaled poloh'izh hide cloak, a bloodwood short bow, some scarlet half plate embellished with a snarling black dragon, a blackened target shield, some scarlet steel gauntlets with spiked knuckle guards and serrated cuffs, a bronze-linked belt, some black leather pants adorned with bronze studs, a black leather thigh quiver and a pair of hardened-leather boots with spiked knee guards.
