Lockpick rings are worn on the belt, not the finger. It would be weird to wear a ring with 25 lockpicks on it on your finger. I feel like lockpick cases are worn on the thigh, but I do not have one on me to appraise this second. - padhg (talk) 22:10, 11 May 2016 (CDT) |

Looked through a few lockpick cases and they seem to be "waist worn", which I think means attached to the belt.. it's at least more accurate than "finger". Heh. Feel free to make any and all changes that you find relevant to this page - it's clearly a huge undertaking! I would love to be able to have another column, for instance, that denotes if the item is available store-bought vs. crafted, and if said store is in Zoluren, or not for the F2P peoples. - KASHNA (talk) 23:58 11 May 2016 (EST) |

::Actually "waist" is a different slot than "belt". Try inventory slots, or see the inventory command page. There are so many containers in the game, I just have a few standard go to ones... - padhg (talk) 00:15, 12 May 2016 (CDT) |

::: According to the Inventory Slots command in-game, and the Inventory (concept) page here, the two possible waist locations are "Around the waist" or "Attached to belt". This is a project that I wanted to put together to help coalesce data on where to get worthwhile stuff like cloaks, boots, harnesses, etc. Due to the grand scale of it all, I wasn't able to do due diligence on bag sizes, etc, so what's in the first portion is generic guess-timations based on a glance through 3 or 4 items that I considered to be somewhat common (i.e. in the Curio shop, or basic Crossing shop)... yet, there's stuff like the Baldric, which is 10x2x2, or 19x2x2... that's a huge distinction and definitely worthy of note. I put that stuff in the Notable Store Bought section at the far bottom... but still... my knowledge is limited. Please make edits as you see fit! |

Something weird about the sorting
As a result of the queries at the bottom, it's clear that there are some inconsistencies in the slotting of certain containers. Particularly notable are the Backpacks and Backsheaths that are labeled as being worn in the Shoulder slot. The Reversibles are a bit troublesome as well. Since I don't have extensive experience in-game yet, can someone a little more knowledgeable flip through the lists and made edits to the forms of the items that are miss-labeled? - KASHNA (talk) 18:45 11 May 2016 (EST)
- I see you modified the Item:Black silk cloak to change it from being worn in the shoulder slot to the shoulders slot. When these type of changes are made, it can take up to 24 hours for the indexes on elanthipedia to update before semantic search results will reflect the change. That said, please make sure you have seen and verified an item in game before changing its worn location. Many items in the game do not wear where you would expect, see the backsheath worn in shoulder slot below. - padhg (talk) 20:32, 11 May 2016 (CDT)
>tap my backsheath You tap a copper-fitted leather backsheath studded with small cambrinth discs that you are holding. >app my backsheath The leather backsheath is made with metal. The leather backsheath is a container, and can be opened and closed. The leather backsheath is quite supple. It appears that the leather backsheath can be slung over one shoulder. You are certain that the leather backsheath weighs exactly 35 stones. You are certain that the leather backsheath holds exactly 12 mana. You are certain that the leather backsheath is worth exactly 87500 Kronars. Roundtime: 8 seconds.
- This is why I made the request above.. as I changed a few of the Backsheath, etc, I realized that the mistake probably wasn't made 20+ times, so I reverted most of those changes that I'd made. It's nice to see confirmation that something called a "backsheath" actually isn't worn on the back, though, too. What an odd way to name it, then! It might be worthwhile to revert any slot-changes that I made today as a result of this endeavor. - KASHNA (talk) 22:20 11 May 2016 (CDT)
- Additionally, we have frequent problems with the semantic searches and many of them do not work at all. There's an announcement that should be visible unless you dismiss it "ATTENTION Semantic searching and tagging for Armor, Weapon, Shield, and Post categories are not functioning properly. It is being worked on." The SIMUTRONICS staff has to work on some of those types of issues when it's more than the normal updating delay. In general, the semantic searches have been very unreliable since we migrated our hosting. --GAMERGIRL151 (talk) 20:45, 11 May 2016 (CDT)
Wrong worn location for lockpick rings and lockpick cases
Lockpick rings are worn on the belt, not the finger. It would be weird to wear a ring with 25 lockpicks on it on your finger. I feel like lockpick cases are worn on the thigh, but I do not have one on me to appraise this second. - padhg (talk) 22:10, 11 May 2016 (CDT)

Please Edit & Adjust As Necessary!
I also have a wish list on the queries for specific items:
- I want to denote whether the item in question is store-bought or player-crafted.
- If it is store-bought, I want to state the province within which the shop is located (to benefit our F2P community).
If you know how to add these things, please do so! - KASHNA (talk) 23:58 11 May 2016 (CDT)
