Description
The emaciated umbramagus is an unnatural and alien beast, apparent from its bodily structure. Two skeletal heads are mounted atop a barren ribcage, and four boney arms arch out in a radial pattern. Its legs are impossible to see, lost in the swirling confines of a shade-filled vortex which the thing uses as a means of locomotion.
In Depth
Shadow creature. Harmed by most Lunar magic and certain light-based spells (such as Divine Radiance) but are healed by shadow-based magic such as Dinazen Olkar. A lot of light-based spells that should work (like Halo) are buggy and do not affect them. They are flagged as a cursed creature due to a combat system limitation; to compensate they have been made immune to nearly all non-light-based Holy spells. Bless and Defensive spells still function normally.
Umbramagi use both Shadow Web and Shear often. They will occasionally summon help in the form of other Umbramagi or Shadefield Eviscerators.
Special drop of different types of seordstone talons (black, spotted, etc). These are a gem and can also be used in the devourer enchantment.
