Like all of the Adan'f race, the mage vaguely resembles a large lizard, complete with reddish-black scales and forked tongue. Slitted golden eyes are set deeply into its narrow skull, over triple rows of gleaming pointed teeth. A long, sinuous neck leads down to a slender, almost frail, body. Its delicate tail is tipped with one gleaming talon, though the tail appears too weak to use as a weapon. Description
The mage wears a long hooded cloak of deep black cloth, its surface lumpy with concealed items. One of its three-fingered hands holds an oak staff topped with a jackal's skull.
Special Attacks
Casts Dinazen Olkar and Mental Blast.
In Depth
Shield skill is highly recommended, specifically a medium as you will be attacked with both targeted magic and melee. 40 discipline seems to be the range required to shrug off the Mental Blast.

Death and items
Adan'f mages will, on occasion, pick up the fallen weapon of the recently deceased and put it into their cloak. If subject to graverobbing mechanics, the mage will not despawn or leave the room while the corpse remains, and will fall dead on it's own after a few minutes. Items they pick up can be found inside their black cloaks after they have been looted. They will also stash boxes, shields, and some other items but will ignore bonded/registered items or mining materials.
