Background

Chinoa was raised in the east, however her upbringing and past is something she seldom talks about. Inducted into the clerics guild at an early age, she proceeded to engage with her instructors and learn at a rate they found suprising. However soon after her graduation they were to be even more suprised.

She met with the cleric Bambina, along with her childhood friend Naea, and was warned of the coming of Lyras. It was during this meeting that her interest in her lost Rakash heritage was sparked, and a passion proceeded to consume her for knowledge. Along with Naea she learnt what she could of the Rakash past, their traditions and customs, as well as about their Gods. It was at this point she rejected her old teachings of the thirteen and took up worship of the Rakash Gods, in one fell swoop taking up what the Temple would consider heretical worship.

The time after the meeting with Bambina and during her quest for knowledge, she headed north with Naea to spread word of the imminent invasion. It was in Theren that she met with the pack Alpha Alexii. Soon after both her and Naea had been inducted into the Augstawne Girene Dzirta, and had agreed to help the pack into a new and brighter future.

Chinoa is softly spoken and passionate about her Gods, always eager to help guide young Rakash and teach them of thier heritage. Currently residing in Siksraja, she has been known to move between there and the Crossing frequently as she pays visits on her friends and loved ones.

She is wearing a smooth silvery headband embroidered with white cherry blossoms, a hammered copper torque set with an obsidian disc, a moon-shaped emerald pendant on a braided silver chain, a midnight-black watered silk rantija, a belted kidskin baldric tooled with sinuous maiden's tress vines, a slender khuj, a wolf skeleton, a blackened shield painted with a fierce lion leaping through a wall of flames, a soft fur rucksack with dangling white fox tails, an embroidered pure white odaj falling from a frosted silver butterfly clasp, a finely carved ebony wolf charm suspended from a dark leather cord, some articulated midnight black armor with adan'f skull pauldrons and silver-plated besagues, a twisted silver armband displaying an onyx and fabric turinstil, a wide cambrinth armband, some moonstone armbands, a twisted white gold ring set with a large cambrinth unicorn, a delicate platinum ring adorned with a diamond butterfly, a dashing forest green silk sash with an emerald-set ivory clasp, a twisted silver hip chain dangling with tiny cambrinth butterflies, a smooth fox fur sporran with a full mask flap, a blue hip pouch beautifully embroidered with a fluttering butterfly pattern in sapphire-blue thread, an embossed leather holster, a pure white velvet case clasped with a platinum snowflake, a leather thigh bag heavily-beaded in cambrinth with the image of a winged butterfly and a pair of pure white nauda affixed with bright silver fittings.

Notable Events in Chinoa's Life

• Attended the farewell Moot at Bambina's house in the Crossing and subsequently travelled North to Therengia with Naea to spread word of Lyras's coming to Baron Gyfford, King Raenilar and others. Has since settled in Therenborough with Naea and Naea's hedgehog, Ena.

• Welcomed into the Augstawne Girene Dzirta and gifted with a dashing forest green silk sash with an emerald-set ivory clasp and a midnight-black watered silk rantija by Alexii

• Gifted a pair of pure white nauda affixed with bright silver fittings by Alexii after his long absence.

• Was part of the initial exploration of Siksraja, the newly found Rakash village. Has moved homes with Naea and Ena to the village in hopes of learning of old Rakash culture and lore.
