[Eshar's Trading Post, Main Room]
Eshar the pawnbroker casts you a surly glance as you enter the dusty, disheveled trading post. His attitude strikes you as odd, especially for someone dealing with those who come here to part regretfully with their valuables. It is even more puzzling because he is also a contact for many of the traders doing business in Leth Deriel. But recalling some of the traders you have met, perhaps his attitude is understandable. He is the younger brother of Ershem the papermaker.

[Eshar's Trading Post, The Pit]
A small, rounded room at the back of the trading post serves as its brokerage area. Now and again, a clerk or two consult with the pricing board located near the entrance, making updates or verifying the information they find. The clerk in charge of commodities nods at you in greeting as you enter, but otherwise seems disinterested in your company.

[Eshar's Trading Post, Backroom]
There is very little room to move about in the backroom, except for a narrow aisle cleared from the door to a long counter in the rear. The rest of the floor is strewn with boxes, crates and cartons piled and stacked to make use of all available space. Locked cabinets and shelves cover every inch of wall space. At the counter stands Eshar's appraiser busily examining numerous items heaped in front of him.
