This is the "VERBSDicePair" template to list all the actions for dice that come as a pair.

Dice using this script have the following STUDY output: Verbs that can be used with the dice: APPRAISE, CARVE, EXHALE, KISS, POKE, SHAKE, SHUFFLE, SNUGGLE, SWEAR, TAP, THROW, and TURN..

It should be called in the following format:

APPRAISE First Person: Shows the condition of your dice. See below.

CARVE First Person: You carefully work at your dice to whittle off a thin shaving of demonbone from them, but don't seem to be making any progress. Perhaps you should try again.

Or:
You carefully work at your dice to whittle off a thin shaving of demonbone from them. After a few moments work, you feel satisfied that they will come up showing a 7 on the next roll.
Or:
You start to whittle off a thin shaving from your dice as you have so many times in the past when suddenly the demonbone splits and crumbles to the ground.

EXHALE First Person: You curl your fist around your <condition> demonbone dice, then blow on them.

You scoop up your demonbone dice before anyone else can touch them.

As you scoop up your demonbone dice, you notice a small chip that wasn't there before.

TURN First Person: The dice click together as you rub them between your palms.

You can cheat with these dice by carving them with a knife in hand. Successfully carving them will make the dice combination come up as a 7 on the next roll, but damage the dice. This will change the condition modifier used in messaging, and how the dice appear when appraised. Further carving once the dice are 'cracked' will destroy them.

Condition Modifier Appraisal Appearance
pristine The demonbone dice are in pristine condition! The demonbone is clean and none of the claw-shaped abyssal quartz pips are chipped.
scuffed The demonbone dice are a little scuffed and dirty, but still usable.
shabby The demonbone dice are is noticeably worn but still functional.
worn The demonbone dice have hairline fractures showing in the demonbone and a couple of the abyssal quartz pips have fallen off.
cracked Several of the abyssal quartz pips are missing and the demonbone is noticeably cracked.
