Happy Tuesday, Elanthians! This week is just a straightforward Premium expansion to an existing area. Those who frequent the Abandoned Mines near Stone Clan with the warklins and maulers will find 5 new rooms to spread out into. PREMIUM 6 is updated to include it. Of note, these were given standard stats for their estimated level so that they could also gain a -2 to +2 spawn range. They may be a little beefier than their regular counterparts. I also took a moment to improve the existing spawners. They had some conflicting settings that were just goofy behind the scenes. Overall, you should see faster/more spawn, but the Premium area will be the best of both. I don't have more hype to add than that, so enjoy for those who can! Big thanks to Ulerith for the speedy QC. I do want to take moment to bring up something. This was a frequent request on the player survey I did a couple years ago, and it's been brought up on the forums as well. I sat down with the area expecting to expand it more than I did, until I noticed that these exact creatures (without tweaks) spawn on Ratha. There are 80 rooms being unused with these creatures. When I saw that, the expansion to the open-to-all part of the area died. I don't mind helping to fill gaps or unclog areas when there aren't good alternatives available, and I hope the work we've done on the Tuesday releases in the past year shows that. But when literally 80 rooms of the exact same creature are an option (some of those haven't been visited since early January!), and they're not being used because folks don't want to travel or whatever reason there is -- I draw a line there. Not to mention that there are other creature options in the same range as well. We still have plenty of creatures and areas to look at going forward, but this should take care of warklins for a while. See you next week! Zadraes (for the team!)
