Greetings! Three new (non-crafting) quest-level design materials are being released at Taisidon Mystery 2022. Big thanks to GM Winna for also helping to create some of these new goodies for you! starshine Reputed to be prized by Phelim himself, starshine is a sparkling silver metal that shines softly with a pale luminosity. The metal twinkles and sparkles in the dark, mimicking the way its namesake appears in the night sky. Starshine is a softer metal and would not be suitable as the base metal for quality armor or weapons. Common Description: Shining softly with a pale luminosity, the silvery metal twinkles and sparkles in the dark, mimicking the way its namesake appears in the night sky. Design Note: Starshine emits its own light and can be described as "luminescent starshine" in the TAP and LOOK. Whether this is true or simply a tale to help establish a desirably exotic origin story is entirely unclear; however, the stone itself retains no trace of active corruption. Common description: Midnight-blue banding blankets the stone as pinpoints of rich yellow and orange peek out among the shade, reminiscent of stars in the evening sky. fractalline A result of enterprising Traders' Guild magicians, its creation involves the application of specific magical treatment and crystalline enhancement to any ordinary piece of prepared cotton. The resultant product is patterned with swirls of ivory and pervaded by prismatic fractals -- qualities which remain regardless of any dyeing.
