>[Eksharo] popped up on my arrivals list a few days ago. Like I said though I couldnt get him on locates or mirrors to figure out what he was up to though...

Just to give you a summary about what was going on with Eksharo..

Asrea for the past month or two made the decision to go around spouting off all the secrets that she had learned regarding Eksharo's ritual and her opinion on the true nature of the Empath Guild to anyone/everyone that would listen. Her desire for retribution against the guild stems from them essentially "throwing her under the bus" when it came to the ritual as she had asked specificly beforehand what would happen yet the guild clearly withheld that information.

Eventually as her speeches started to gain some steam within the guild, an Empath messenger (Halfrida) was sent to test the water so to speak. After reporting back to the Modien (5 leaders, one for each province) .. Wyllen (Therengia) organized a meeting between Asrea and Eksharo to attempt to stop the "truth and transparency" movement.

Khalo rae Moda Wyllen just arrived.

Wyllen closes her eyes for a moment and grows still. > The Shard sentinel searches the area, scanning every shadow with an intense look on her face. > Wyllen says to you, "Good morning, Asrea." > The Shard sentinel searches the area, scanning every shadow with an intense look on her face. > You see Khalo rae Moda Wyllen Westerling, a Halfling Empath. Wyllen has silver-flecked violet eyes. Her grey hair is short and wavy, and is worn loose. She has wrinkled skin. She appears to be archaic. She is in good shape.

She is holding a smooth ebony staff capped by a knotwork of silver in her right hand. She is wearing a kyanite gwethdesuan, a jadeite gwethdesuan, a black shoulder satchel, an oversized tunic in a soft shade of plum, a pair of black silk trousers with slits along the outer ankles and a pair of plum velvet slippers. > Wyllen smiles at Marssi. > Wyllen nods politely to Nurvembarr. > The Shard sentinel searches the area, scanning every shadow with an intense look on her face. > Marssi smiles at Wyllen. > You say to Marssi, "That's always just talk though, you know how that is." > Marssi nods in agreement. > Wyllen exclaims to you, "I have been looking for you!" > Marssi says, "It's a good sign, at least." > The Shard sentinel searches the area, scanning every shadow with an intense look on her face.

You ask Wyllen, "Who are you?"

Marssi raises an eyebrow. > Wyllen says to you, "Oh, pardon me, dear." > Staring intently at the shadows, the Shard sentinel grips her mace tightly. > Wyllen exclaims, "I am Khalo rae Moda Wyllen, of Therengia. Far from home, you see!" > Wyllen smiles warmly. > Staring intently at the shadows, the Shard sentinel grips her mace tightly.

You say, "Ahhhh." > Marssi nibbles her lip thoughtfully.

The Shard sentinel murmurs something about "criminals everywhere" as she searches the shadows.

> You ask, "I've heard about the.. what did you call it?" > You ask, "Search?"

Wyllen says, "I sent Halfrida to speak to you, I believe you met her a while ago." > You nod to Wyllen. > Nurvembarr gazes at Wyllen. > The Shard sentinel murmurs something about "criminals everywhere" as she searches the shadows.

You say to Wyllen, "She was very helpful despite her best efforts."

> Staring intently at the shadows, the Shard sentinel grips her mace tightly. > You nod to Wyllen. > Wyllen laughs softly, trying to hide her amusement. > Nurvembarr shivers suddenly, seeming less secure. > Wyllen says, "Poor dear." > Wyllen says, "She's still finding her feet." > Wyllen says, "As are you, I think." > Wyllen looks thoughtfully at you. > The Shard sentinel strides south, her hand on her mace.

You say, "I would agree with that, but every time I take a step I seem to land on solid ground." > A shimmering mirror of shadows appears momentarily in the air above, briefly revealing Rolondolf's face. > Wyllen rests her hand on your arm with a soft smile. You feel a warmth radiate from Wyllen's touch. You have a brief sensation that leaves your wounds tingling. Wyllen draws back slightly from you, a look of fear momentarily crossing her face. > Wyllen says, "Hmmm."

Wyllen is looking at you very closely. > You fix Wyllen with a frank, even stare. > Wyllen says, "I feel the shock. The scar, anyway. My, my." > Arourra just arrived. > Gambler Osus just arrived. > Wyllen says, "You poor thing."

You say, "I don't remember asking for you to put your hands on me." > You say to Wyllen, "I would not do it again." > You sense a tiny amount of mana slip away from you. > Wyllen says, "Nevermind, dear. I don't mean you any harm." > Wyllen says, "I don't have to touch you to feel it, but it's a habit." > Wyllen leans forward on her ebony staff, listening intently. > Arourra asks you, "Are you alright?"

You say to Wyllen, "You mean no harm yet your messengers make constant veiled threats."

You say to Wyllen, "You can't expect me not to be cautious." > Wyllen says, "Halfrida can be a bit literal." > Wyllen chuckles. > Wyllen is looking at you very closely.

You say to Wyllen, "I'd imagine you haven't had someone speaking the truth of the Link in quite a while." > Wyllen says, "I am here because K'Eksharo would like to speak with you." > Marssi says, "I've met her. She did seem to imply that Asrea needed to be dealt with." > Marssi raises an eyebrow.

You say, "Bring him here then." > You nod to Wyllen. > Glancing into every shadow, Sentinel Kureta swaps her halberd from hand to hand. > Wyllen says, "He's too frail for that, I'm afraid." > You say, "We will welcome him as a true hero." > Wyllen says, "He lives in Zoluren." > Wyllen says, "I would like you to accompany me back there." > Wyllen smiles. > Marssi gazes at you. > You ask Wyllen, "Where do you plan to hold this meeting?"

Wyllen says, "In his sitting room, my dear." > You lean forward on your walking cane, with rapt attention. > Wyllen says, "He has a tidy little place near willow walk." > You say, "That will not do." > Wyllen asks, "Oh, will it not? Why is that?" > Arourra rummages about her person, looking for something. > You say, "The words spoken must be said for all to hear." > Wyllen says, "Hmmmm."

You say, "The Empath guild has too many conversations behind closed doors." > Sentinel Kureta scans the area with an intense look on her face, a slight frown coming over her lips as she slips a silver throwing dagger from its sheath. > Wyllen says, "Well, I'm sorry you feel that way, child. But you'll find most large, diverse organizations operate that way."

You ponder. > Tendrils of ghostly flame trail errantly behind Arourra, wavering like gossamer robes in the wind. > Arourra bows her head and chants a prayer. > Arourra gets a goblet of strawberry wine from inside her traveler's pack. > Wyllen says, "The Moda are the ones who make decisions, not the general membership. It's for the best." > Wyllen smiles. > Arourra bows her head and chants a prayer.

You say, "So you would prefer the contents of that conversation would be able to be questioned or dismissed."

You say, "Since there will be no other witnesses other than myself."

Marssi frowns. > Arourra's eyes glisten with a strange red light. > Wyllen says, "It is a private conversation between two people. Surely you would not grudge an old man that much." > Nurvembarr says, "Perhaps Marssi could join you." > You raise an eyebrow in Wyllen's direction. > Sentinel Kureta scans the area with an intense look on her face, a slight frown coming over her lips as she slips a silver throwing dagger from its sheath.

You fold your arms across your chest.

You clench your walking cane tightly until your knuckles go white. > The Shard sentinel strides in, her steely grey eyes intently watching for signs of trouble. > The city gates creak in the predawn chill. > The Shard sentinel murmurs something about "criminals everywhere" as she searches the shadows. > Wyllen gets a thoughtful expression on her face. > Arourra scans the area briefly. > The Shard sentinel murmurs something about "criminals everywhere" as she searches the shadows. > Wyllen gently taps the tip of her cane against the cobbles. > Arourra takes a sip of her wine. > The Shard sentinel strides east, her hand on her mace.

You say, "I must have a guard."

You say, "Due to the threats of Halfrida." > Wyllen says, "Bring your Alfar, then."

You laugh at Wyllen! > Marssi appears to be trying hard not to grin. > Wyllen cocks her head.

You say, "Oh, you were serious."

Wyllen says, "K'Eksharo is too frail to harm you, child. You're in more danger of tripping and skinning your knee on the way there."

You say to Wyllen, "It's not him I'm concerned with." > Wyllen asks, "Oh? Who, then?"

You say to Wyllen, "I've never seen you before. I'm sure there are many others that don't show their faces often." You say to Wyllen, "Or ever."

Wyllen says, "That is not the role of the Modien, generally." > Wyllen says, "We are administrators, the Wen are the teachers." > You mumble something under your breath. > Marssi says, "When there are vague threats being thrown around, I don't think it's strange to worry about safety."

You ask Wyllen, "You would deny that I have reason to be concerned?" > The Shard sentinel strides in, his steely grey eyes intently watching for signs of trouble. > You ask Wyllen, "Speaking the truths that have gone unspoken for so long?" > The Shard sentinel searches the area, scanning every shadow with an intense look on his face. > Wyllen says, "You seem sick with paranoia, to me. Poor thing." > Wyllen frowns at you. > Staring intently at the shadows, the Shard sentinel grips his mace tightly. > Arourra seems to be concentrating intently on something. > Wyllen says, "I am sorry no one checked up on you before. A dreadful oversight." > The Shard sentinel murmurs something about "criminals everywhere" as he searches the shadows. > > Sentinel Kureta scans the area with an intense look on her face, a slight frown coming over her lips as she slips a silver throwing dagger from its sheath. > The Shard sentinel strides east, his hand on his mace. Marssi sighs. > You scrunch your eyebrows together and furrow your brow.

You say, "I have never backed down from a challenge." > The Shard sentinel strides in, his steely grey eyes intently watching for signs of trouble. > Wyllen says, "It was the Wen who first brought us concerns that you might be ill. They are not as useless as you seem to think, nor without compassion." > > The Shard sentinel searches the area, scanning every shadow with an intense look on his face.

You say to Marssi, "The last one slipped, I will bring strength to this meeting." > You gaze up at the sky.

The Shard sentinel searches the area, scanning every shadow with an intense look on his face. > Wyllen gets a thoughtful expression on her face. > The Shard sentinel strides north, his hand on his mace. > Marssi smiles at you.

You emphatically rap the tip of your walking cane upon the ground.

You join Wyllen's group. J> Wyllen says, "Thank you, child." J> Marssi says to you, "Good luck to you."

Wyllen says, "It is a long trip."

You say, "On with it, then." J> Wyllen says, "Vansiil, if you are able that would be wonderful. My poor feet are not what they once were." J> Wyllen says, "Someone has offered to gate us to Crossing." J> _______________________________________

A meeting was then held between Eksharo and Asrea, with the stubborn nature of both on full display. The end result of the meeting was she was given the option to fall back in line, or be "cast out" of the guild. (Yes, Asrea's an "Outcast".. the irony) Asrea would not back down so the meeting ended with Asrea picking up some valuable intelligence while cutting her ties to the guild for the time being.

Immediately after the meeting... Asrea, Elyssari, Villya, and possibly others that were supporting the cause were immediately hit with forbidden practices accusations several times.. with Elyssari getting hounded a couple times. It appears the Temple and the Guild may have some sort of deal worked out under the table. I was told a Kaldar Adjudicator was seen patrolling the guild though I didn't see it myself.

We will see where it goes from here... who knows?
