Crossing had another eventful night with the Enforcer of the Red Sewer Gang - a dwarf named Raggo - showing himself in town. He was first spotted at the Ranger's Guild, and after some gweth taunting agreed to meet Sebastienne at the Viper's Nest. She, and many others arrived on the scene, where Raggo tried to extort Crossing. He demanded 10000 plat for a month's worth of peace. Obviously, Zoluren was not going to stand for this and Raggo was killed on the spot. He had made it clear he was not here to talk. The next several hours the Crossing was hit hard with Thugs, Ruffians, and Cutthroats as various groups pursued Raggo. He was killed many times. As he lay close to walking in the Guard House, a group gathered to determine who he was taking orders from - the boss of the Gang. As Raggo lay dying - close to walking the Starry Road (plane), a group gathered to try and get him to reveal who he was taking orders from. He refused to tell us, but did mention a name that started with "Zur." A few moments later a scarred human face appeared, berating Raggo for his failure and telling him he and his family would pay. The face then told the crowd to expect him tomorrow at he same time - and to prepare to die. Raggo's body disappeared at that point. The group gathered returned to the streets of Crossing and went about clearing the remaining thugs and cutthroats. When that was a done an unlikely meeting took place on the Town Green. People that normally avoided each other met to discuss this new threat and form an unlikely - albeit temporary - alliance to rid Crossing of this threat once and for all. It was at this time that one Zurato made his presence known. He only showed himself briefly after whispering some threats from hiding. Its is presumed this Zurato is the Gang Leader we seek. The group then began to break up, agreeing to meet again tomorrow, as early as possible to discuss strategies to take down Zurato and his thugs. To that end, I am putting out a call for aid. I ask any able bodies to make their way to Crossing proper. We will be meeting on the Town Green to discuss strategy. Those that do not feel they can help in the fighting can make themselves useful buy collecting herbs for the Empath Guild and Temple cabinets, placing themselves at Triage (preferably one clockwise from the Ressurection Creche in the Temple), or acting as scouts. ~Cyiarriah
