Stables
[North Roads Caravansary, Stables]
This is a low stone building holding half a dozen or so stalls used by individual travellers who can pay to have accommodations for their mounts. There is no sign of recent use and you wonder when the last lone traveller might have come by. A roofless stone-walled pen juts out from one side of the building.
You also see a wooden gate, an empty stall and an old corral.
Obvious exits: none.
Stable Pen
[North Roads Caravansary, Stable Pen]
This is a stone-walled pen meant to hold a caravan's camels apart from the horses, The ground is dusty with dried manure that rises in clouds as you move. An old watering trough sits at one end with a few inches of dirty liquid still in it. There was once a slatted roof overhead for shade but the wooden slats have long since been taken for other uses.
You also see a crudely planed wooden sign.
Obvious exits: out.

[North Roads Caravansary, Clean Stall]
This clean stall in the far corner of the stable has been converted into a small office with an old sturdy desk and fresh hay on the floor. Painted red hinges mark where the stall door once was, and on the walls are amateur paintings of open pastures filled with colts and their mares.
You also see a ruddy clerk.
