miniature sailor with a scrimshaw whalebone peg-leg
Look: Fashioned from smooth, fine-grained driftwood, the figurine is that of a young Human male. The frowning sailor, his bald head covered with a red striped kerchief, is garbed in a pair of tight knee pants. Carved from whalebone, a peg-leg stands in place of his left leg, its pallid surface covered in a beautiful nautical scene stained in rich sepia hues. A whaler's harpoon is clenched in one fist, the thick pole tipped with a barbed iron point.
