Description: The Halt spell, if the caster's will is strong enough, holds the subject motionless for a brief time. It is useful when one must intercede to prevent a citizen from attacking another citizen unjustly.
Effect: immobilizes target
Example Messaging: You gesture.
You stare intently at <Target>, stopping <him/her/it> in <his/her/its> tracks with your gaze.
Contest Type: mind / willpower

Notes

  • Does not cause first-strike penalties to Paladins.
  • Does not cause Empathic shock when being cast by an Empath.
