[The Broken Blade Tavern]
Thick fragrant rushes on the floor, large comfortable rooms, clean tables and the broadest selection of ales in the province explain why the Broken Blade is famed for both its hospitality and the brewing skills of its proprietor, Amechra Tushise. Weary off-duty guards sit swapping stories and mild insults over a pitcher of Amechra's finest at the far end of the immense bar while, at nearby tables, traders ply local merchants with whiskey in an attempt to squeeze the last gold dokora from their contracts.
You also see a menu, Amechra, a doorway, some stairs.
Obvious exits: none.

  • Amechra is part of the Rumor system and will talk to Bards & Traders of all races & genders.

[The Broken Blade Tavern, Hallway]
A gleaming brass handrail, Amechra's pride and joy, provides support for his less than steady clientele as they traverse the short hallway to their rooms.
You also see a linwood door, a green door, a flight of stairs and an arched door.
Obvious exits: none.

[The Broken Blade Tavern, The Bear's Den]
The plaster walls of this room have been painted with beautiful murals depicting various alpine scenes. On one wall, bear cubs play in an open meadow surrounded by tall pine trees. On another, a full grown bear fishes in a stream. Carved wooden shutters cover the window.
You also see a bear-skin rug, a wooden bed with a carved headboard with a couple of things on it and a linwood door.
Obvious exits: none.

[The Broken Blade Tavern, Corner Room]
Placed where the sloping roof meets an outside wall, the low oak-beamed ceiling is a rather tricky hazard to the tavern's taller guests. Insuring that bare feet won't grow cold, an oversized hooked rug covers the floor and a carved ash rocker sits near a pot-bellied stove. Pushed against the far wall, a brass frame daybed, covered with fat pillows, sits awaiting a tired body.
You also see a green door.
Obvious exits: none.

[The Broken Blade Tavern, Ishar's Suite]
A tiny sitting area, an overstuffed chair and table, just barely qualifies this room for its designation as a suite yet it still manages to be comfortable and inviting. Lace curtains flutter softly at the window, tapestries cover the walls adding splashes of color and a featherbed, easily large enough for three, occupies the remainder of the room.
You also see an arched door.
Obvious exits: none.
