Look: A pair of leather straps cinch through buckles of intersecting banded iron plates, each pressed into segments resembling a large scarab beetle intended to cover the shoulder. Billowing Imperial weave, dyed a somber violet, drapes from each set of straps, intended to protect an arm, before cinching at the wrist with another leather strap and buckle.
