| Look: | Overlapping plates of dense bone have been mounted on a backing of leather and heavy fabric. The leather, bone, and fabric have been blackened with stain and sealed with dull shellac, causing the barding to almost disappear into its own shadow. Bone spikes line the top ridge where the mane has been covered up. |
