long elegantly-curved falchion with a yeehar-hide wrapped ironwood hilt
Look: Damascened steel with a wavy pattern reminiscent of harsh Velakan dunes has been forged into a single-edged blade that extends in a graceful arc from an ornate blackened ricasso. The long blade is weighted for hunting chitinous desert insects, though the heavy hilt prevents it from being unwieldy. The hammered bronze guard has no quillion, only a circle for the index finger to improve handling on the forward-curved ironwood grip, wrapped with thick yeehar hide and secured with strands of steelsilk.
