SCRAPE is used to:

Prepare skins with a hide scraper for use with the Tailoring discipline.
Begin projects using a drawknife in the Shaping discipline
As an alternative to CLEAN or RUB an item with a wire brush when making repairs to crafted items. This alleviates problems when repairing items that have built-in RUB command interactions that interfere with repair.
