I think we're getting hyperfocused on TDPs. That's why people mix armor now.


If we remove TDPs from the equation (Assume you're training those armor skills some other way) then we still have the question of "Would any paladin actually wear anything other than plate?" I can kind of see leather in a scenario were you were could do stealthy things without a soul hit (Don't worry about what that'd look like right now, this is a thought experiment) but I'm struggling to find a situation where a Paladin would use chain or brig.
