From the release of these bloodsuckers until 6/17/08, the crocodile marsh was hazardous to hunters and empaths alike due to the ability of the parasites to latch onto any part of you in the water. This was problematic for characters that did not have the necessary First Aid skill, which is estimated to be around 75 lessons.

On 6/17/08, GM Dartenian made a handy change so that armor will now prevent the worms from attaching to you. If you wish to ‘hunt’ them still, just remove your armor and wade/swim around. The crocodile swamp near Riverhaven has been updated to make it a bit more hunter friendly. While they still infest the swamp, blood worms are no longer capable of bypassing that stuff we call armor. As long as no exposed (unarmored) body parts end up in the water, a hunter should be safe from blood worms.<br />

This is live in Prime and Platinum. TF will follow this weekend.<br />
