Males of all races except Gor'Togs, Prydaen, and S'Kra Mur can grow facial hair. (Female Dwarves also have facial hair.)

Facial hair grows naturally over time in DragonRealms and can be removed, shortened, or styled. The basic tools are the razor and clippers, which are sold at general stores. Empaths can also shift the length of facial hair and even permanently remove it.

There are several verbs for interacting with and modifying beards and mustaches. This post contains most of these verbs.

The appearance of facial hair varies by race.

• Dwarven Facial Hair
  • Mustache (each removed by 1 cut)
    • Thick bushy mustache that droops heavily on your upper lip
    • Thick, evenly trimmed full mustache that droops heavily on your upper lip
    • Drooping, evenly trimmed full mustache on your upper lip
    • Elegantly trimmed mustache on your upper lip
    • Regally trimmed mustache on your upper lip
    • Long, narrow, evenly trimmed mustache that falls to either side of the mouth on your upper lip
      • At this point can be braided
  • Beard
    • Long shaggy beard
    • Long, thick full beard
