Arithne was the Court Scribe of Shard during the time of Xerasyth's experiments on the Eleven Races. She was kidnapped and held hostage after Vigther was captured (the first time). The people of Shard did not give up Vigther for her return, but she was eventually rescued. After that ordeal, she was not seen again until being re-introduced as Tribune Thariis' assistant on July 1, 2010.
