Chakrel is a unique volcanic mineral which can be substituted for a flame when Barbarians MEDITATE on their Inner Fire.

Forms

Chakrel has two forms, perfect and flawed.

Flawed

Flawed chakrel is indentifiable by the phrase "uncut reddish-orange stone contains slender black streaks and a white flame-shaped inclusion at its heart" in it's description.

Perfect

Perfect chakrel is indentifiable by the phrase "carefully shaped reddish-orange stone contains slender black streaks and a perfect white flame-shaped inclusion" in it's LOOK description. Perfect chakrel will give you an instant indication of your current level of Inner Fire.

Alterations:

While chakrel may be altered by very rare merchants, regardless of the form it finally takes it must retain the reference to the "reddish-orange stone contains slender black streaks and a white flame-shaped inclusion at its heart." As of this update, chakrel is not allowed to be placed into anything but jewelry type items.

In roughly 30 minutes I will be rolling into all instances a change to chakrel items. So, what is it?

No longer will a Barbarian be required to kneel to meditate on their chakrel items - standing is now acceptable when attempting to meditate on these items. However, because proper meditation form is to kneel or sit, it is harder to do this while standing and thus there is a roundtime now associated with this, so kneeling is still the premier way to meditate, but it is no longer required. You may also do this while in combat.
