Town Hall (Crossing)
The Crossing Town Hall is found N then E from the Carousel in central Crossing.
Lobby
[Town Hall, Lobby]
Surrounded by the nerve centers of the administrative arm of the local government, the lobby is an area open to the second floor with skylights in the roof overhead. Various offices open off the main floor, and a flight of stairs leads upward. An attempt at a cheerful paint scheme has become worn and faded with time until it is now a dusty grey and anemic beige, dull and unremarkable.
You also see a Citizenship Registration Office, the Town Collection Office, a notice for potential home buyers and a narrow door.
Obvious exits: out.

Citizenship Registration Office
[Town Hall, Citizenship Registration Office]
Several oval paintings line the off-white walls of this office, and a faint scent of old paper fills the air. A bored clerk sits behind a semi-polished desk occasionally glancing at a book entitled, "Rules and Regulations." A couple of plush wine velvet couches provide seating for those waiting, while a colorful fringed rug entertains a kitten that seems to have found its way through the doors.
You also see a clerk.
Obvious exits: out.
- You can become a citizen of Zoluren here.
Debtors' Office
[Town Hall, Debtors' Office]
This large room is full of clerks processing citizens' and travellers' payments for the various debts, fines and taxes any town needs to operate. A well-worn and scuffed counter keeps the public at bay from the harried civil servants and the tile floor is badly in need of waxing from the countless feet that have shuffled in and out during the day. The room has that somewhat grim and cheerless feel common to most places where people are forced to hand over money.
You also see a heavy wooden sign.
Obvious exits: out.
- Zoluren debts can be PAID here.
- The counter here is a Donation rack.
A heavy wooden sign reads: Here is where you PAY your debts.
The Office of Inspiration
[The Office of Inspiration, Work Room]
Very little furniture adorns this understated office, the walls formed of simple paneling to match the worn wooden floorboards that have seen better days. A small end table pushed against the far wall displays an array of books in various stages of use, some closed, others opened, their assorted pages earmarked to denote several passages of interest. At the center of the room, a large desk consumes most of the available space with its hulking form, scattered with crumpled slips of paper around two half-empty coffee mugs too long neglected to give off any steam.
You also see a narrow door, Tomas Thesaurusen and Bardon d'Erlyn who is seated at the desk.
Obvious exits: none.
