Lobby
[Tenderfoot Inn, Lobby]
A worn fringed rug covers the clean plank floor of the lobby, stopping just at the base of the check-in desk. The walls are bare, save one picture nailed to the west wall. Faint noises of a bustling city drift through an open door.
You also see an aged woman.
Obvious exits: east, south, out.
- The aged woman will offer tips for navigating Crossing if you stand in the room.
Longroom (Entry to the Realms Here)
[Tenderfoot Inn, Longroom]
Rows of oilcloth cots provide cheap rest for the weary stranger. Cotton screens between the bunks offer some privacy, but can't filter the musky scent of travelers' trail dust from every corner of Elanthia.
You also see A REALLY BIG SIGN you probably should READ.
Obvious exits: west.
+--------------------------------------------------- | Welcome to The Crossing, capital of the province of Zoluren | | Lost? Confused? Looking for help? | Look no further. New arrivals may find HELP and ADVICE from | members of the Lorethew Society, whose members volunteer to | act as mentors for newcomers. To find a mentor: | go WEST, OUT and WEST from here. | If no mentor is there, please RING BELL to see if one's available. | | The mayor has provided a map of the city (look in your pack), | as well as some coins to help new arrivals get a start in life. This | is a loan, not a gift, and must be paid back. You can pay your debt | in the Collections Office at the Town Hall (once you're on the streets | of the town, type: DIR TOWN HALL for directions. Type DIR by itself | to see a list of places for which directions are available). | | Still confused? If you go WEST, SOUTH then EAST, a minstrel is | waiting to offer you some helpful advice on getting started. | | When all else fails, HELP and ADVICE are available for the asking. +---------------------------------------------------
Dining Room
[Tenderfoot Inn, Dining Room]
Waiters bustle tiredly around long trestle tables, removing the piles of used plates and bowls accumulated as travelers eat. Playful music fills the air, exploding in upbeat rhythms from the fiddle of a minstrel in the corner to mask the chattering murmur of the patrons.
You also see a menu and some swinging doors leading to the kitchen.
Obvious exits: north, east.
- The door here is for low-level characters only.

You also see a young minstrel that is sitting.
