Description: Reverse Putrefaction was the necromantic solution to the fact that corpses, even post-zombification, still are fundamentally dead flesh. The pattern only works on the properly raised dead, augmenting the musculature and reflexes to make them further superior to the living in order to change the iconic zombie from fodder into a one-undead army.
Effect: +Defensive Factor, +Offensive Factor, CFB and CFW pets only.
Example Messaging: 1st person:

You gesture.
From your extended hand, your spell travels through the thanatological link connecting you to the <type> zombie. A pleasing vibrancy takes hold as dead muscles and tendons begin to work with preternatural efficiency.

3rd person:
<Necromancer> gestures.
As <Necromancer> extends <his/her> hand towards the <type> zombie, it begins to exude a sense of unnatural vibrancy, its motions becoming preternaturally efficient.

Fading:
An arisen <type> zombie's motions slow, the effects of rigor mortis becoming more evident.

Devices/Tattoos: No devices or tattoos documented.

Notes

  • CAST <OFFENSE|DEFENSE>
  • Buffs offensive or defensive capabilities of a Call from Beyond zombie or a Call from Within skeletal insect.
  • An offensive cast provides a melee and ranged accuracy buff. A defensive cast provides evasion, shield and parry buffs[1] as well as a stealth buff for a skeletal insect[2].
  • Does not work with the construct from Quicken the Earth or with a Risen.
  • This spell generates Divine Outrage.
