Thanks! Yeah, learning the ropes I already broke something but I fixed it. ^^; I have a lot of information on the Sorrow War, even if most of it is from memory now. My old Compy asploded so my logs are gone. I hope I can be of some help. --Kittn 11:24, 19 December 2007 (CST)

Horse

While I do not know the answer, the Talk pages here are mostly for discussions regarding how to handle the articles, (though the note that it may need updating is perfectly valid). Because of that, you are unlikely to find someone who can answer that question in any reasonable sense of time.

Might I suggest you use either the "World Of Elanthia" Forums or the official forums (one of the specific suggested categories Mounts - General Discussions or Mounts - Bugs).

I don't entirely agree, Callek. While we are a small community and it might take a little while to get an answer, I think it's not only appropriate to ask specific content-related questions on talk pages, IMO that's the primary function of an article talk page. That's not to say your advice to seek the answer elsewhere wasn't good--but I don't think it's a matter of choosing. BTW I know the answer to the horse question, and have inserted it into the article ;) --Farman 12:05, 20 December 2007 (CST)

I wasn't saying "no don't ever post a question to these Talk pages" (if that was implied, I'm sorry to both of you. More saying that the Talk pages are "mostly" for article work here (which is true). And that most likely place to find that kind of answer is outside a wiki talk page (as very few people relatively watch the Recent Changes than actually look at articles/watch specific interesting articles). I don't intend to stop people from asking questions in that manner, and when I direct people elsewhere, I'll always try to narrow their search to make the situation as fast as possible (similar to how I did here). If you still disagree with my approach, I suggest we take the conversation to the "Town Green" here. --Callek 22:50, 20 December 2007 (CST)

I asked on the main forums anyways. It wasn't a big deal. The mount forums seem rather ignored by red-names though. It's too bad that the horse system seems to be so unimportant to the GMs. Especially since its such a big system with tons of potential for all guilds. --Kittn 16:54, 20 December 2007 (CST)

Yeah, fixing horses has been on the 'someday soon' list for a looooooooooooong time. That's how it goes with DR though. If it's not combat-related or a really serious bug that corrupts things and crashes the game, it can languish for many years. --Farman 20:29, 20 December 2007 (CST)
