Dragonwood is a dark wood whose bark resembles dragonscales. The dragonwood tree grows in small quantities on hidden islands that are difficult to find. The tree also produces a very delicious red fruit, dragonfruit which is used in many beverages. The sap can be made into Dragonfire amber.
