[Old Trail, Stable]
Straw dust and the sweet scent of horse manure coat the air. The brush and twig walls keep out the worst of the weather while allowing chinks of light through their leafy armor. Overhead, a lantern dangles from one of the stronger-looking sticks supporting the thatched roof. Low straw barriers protruding from the walls section off individual stalls, and a corral is visible through a split tarp hanging across the back wall. You also see Stablemaster Mitford.

A tarp, rent by several lengthwise splits, covers an opening in the stable's back wall. A sign pinned to one of the middle strips of fabric declares, "Keep Out".

A flimsy-looking stick fence encircles a smallish patch of ground to form a corral. The stock noses at the wobbly perimeter, but for reasons known only to themselves decline to kick it down and escape.
